Join us for a family-friendly morning at Jamestown Farmers Market on Halloween! You’ll find us in downtown Jamestown on Third Street near the intersection of Pine Street.
In addition to connection and fresh, local food from a dozen farmers, producers, and artisans, you can find some festive additions to the Market on October 31:
Pumpkin carving contest
Tent or Treat for kids age 12 and under
Pumpkin carving contest: any time before October 31, purchase a pumpkin from our participating farmers (Abers Acres, Carlberg Farm, and Durow Farm) either at JFM or from their existing farmstands. Pick up a flyer with entry form at the time of purchase, carve your pumpkin, and bring it to the Market on October 31 by 9:30 to enter it in the contest! The community will vote for its favorites, and winners in the youth and adult divisions will earn $50 in market credit.
Tent or Treat: Kids age 12 and under can “tent or treat” with participating JFM vendors up and down the market! Come in costume and visit the farmers, producers and artisans for special treats. Don’t forget to stop by the Sprouts tent first for a kids activity so you can earn $2 in SproutsBucks to spend at the market!
How It Works
Stop by the Market Information Tent to exchange SNAP/EBT for tokens, or use a valid credit or debit card to purchase tokens. Then, use your tokens to purchase fresh produce and baked goods from our vendors. All of our vendors accept cash and our $5 token. Some vendors also accept credit and debit cards.
